Amy Gordon is a soulful abstract painter, a menswear designer, inventive photographer and prolific writer. After studying Art and Fabric Design, at the North Carolina State University, Amy left the small town of Brown summit North Carolina to take a job in with Burlington Menswear in New York City and work for designers such as Geoffrey Beene, Oscar De La Rente and Nautica. Gordon studied painting in London and San Francisco and has been painting and creating her entire life. Her primarily acrylic abstract work is inspired by the dichotomy between superficial motion and authentic stillness.
