Iulia Carchelan

Premiere watercolor artist from The Republic of Moldova.

Born in 1989 in Nisporeni Moldova, Carchelan Iulia is an established artist working in her country and exhibiting her works abroad.

She started her carrier early before she graduated the University of Fine Arts “George Enescu”, from Iasi, Romania.

Her works are mostly atmospheric paintings evoking memories of her childhood places, showing the beauty of rainy days or ladies walking through flower fields.

She paints with watercolor using the most difficult technique called “wet on wet” which she learned it from her father Ion.

Iulia’s works are exhibited in diverse galleries around the United States where she had several solo exhibitions and also presented to the public in France, Turkey, Romania, Azerbaijan or Georgia.

Private collectors from Moldova, Romania, USA, UK, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Turkey or Russia has her works.
